Categories

The purpose of the database is to understand how different ecosystems attract, onboard, and retain developers. *SES* is focused on MakerDAO scaling, so we grouped the ecosystems that we thought would be most relevant across three categories:

1. Best in class crypto: crypto ecosystems attracting a lot of devs.
2. Adjacent crypto: ecosystems in relevant categories that have attracted a lot of devs.
3. Anti-pattern crypto: ****crypto ecosystems that have attracted crypto market mindshare, but seem to underperform relative to their hype.

Listed are relevant developer metrics that relate to awareness, onboarding, and retention.
